Joint Yoga
Hi Tracey - just a line to let you know how impressed I am with Joint Yoga. We have a 32 year old pony who was very stiff and arthritic and I didn't think that he would be making it through another winter. I thought that I would give him a go on the Joint Yoga after you had helped me with another horse a few years ago with ingredients similar to Joint Yoga. He has been on it for 2 months now and there is a big improvement. He would easily get stuck when trying to get up from having a roll and in the past we have sometimes had to help him to get up, now we just call him to come for his breakfast and if he is on the ground he leaps up and canters to us. The other reason I am contacting you is to ask can I use it on a 32 year old donkey, he is not showing any signs of arthritis and is still free moving but I believe that prevention is better than cure.
Thanks for a great product - regards Linda Loy.
Joint Yoga
Hello, I received the joint yoga you posted by express post the day after I ordered it and I wanted to say thank you for the great service. Three of our horses are maintained on Joint Yoga and all are doing really well on it. I have attached a photo of our 22 year old Australian pony, Fairlight Acres Sunbeam ( Sunny) He competes at show jumping, dressage and horse trials regularly with his rider Ashleigh and no one can believe his age. He was doing well but I thought at 22 he could use a little help so started him on Joint Yoga. Within a week he had extra spring in his step and was obviously feeling VERY well.! Thanks for your fantastic natural products.
Cheers, Sue
Joint Yoga
Hello, I would like to thank Brown's Herbs with all my Ponies life, as Joint Joga was our only hope. I have an 8yr old 14hh gelding who is lightly shown and used for pleasure riding, all was going brillant until Trevvy started to go lame.
Firstly after being shod he was lame for 3 days then came good. Then after the next shoeing he was lame for 2 wks. In between this time I had another farrier do a reshoe and evened Trevvy up his hooves. I also had my brillant horse masseour attend to him. Still no change, time for the vet. After serveral visits of nerve blocking and xrays I was told the terrible news that Trevvy's Coffin Joint was the problem and I had booked the vet to do a cortisone injection into that joint in 7 days time. I had previously had success with Joint Joga on my 27yr old pony and decided to give it a go.
Trevvy was on double dose and it was day 4 before I noticed a big improvement then on day 5 the vet arrived he couldn't believe what he was witnessing. He said that if he hadn't seen the horse prior and to the extent of the lameness that he showed and if he hadn't done the nerve blocks etc he wouldn't have believed that this was possible. Trev was given 99% soundness. Therefore we decided to leave the cortizone and let the healing process begin. Another 4 days and Trevvy was back into light work, and was now 110% sound.
Today 8wks on, Trevvy has been on the standard dose of Joint Yoga as of 3 wks ago and he hasn't looked back. So thankyou for leting my pony have his freedom and life back. I must also comment that his entire movement and back is so much more relaxed and free.
Many Thanks Mel and Trevvy
Hoof and Bone Regenerator
In February 2008 my horse, Axel, took fright in his paddock escaping and pulling up lame near fore. His lameness was treated as soft tissue injury then veterinary examination and ultrasound confirmed a diagnosis of a bruised NF suspensory ligament. Conventional treatment was undertaken, however, 3 months later Axel was still lame. He went to Werribee Veterinary Hospital for a full lameness work up. Definitive diagnosis was fractures to the medial and lateral wings of the NF pedal bone as well as suspensory ligament and flexor tendon damage. The fractures were unstable and showed no signs of healing. The recommended medical treatment for hoof fractures was commenced. His prognos is guarded.
Desperate to do as much as I could to facilitate and ensure recovery, I also looked at diet and general well being. An aspect of this was to consult with Tracey Brown of Brown’s Herbs for her opinion and advice. Tracey recommended their Hoof and Bone Regenerator. This herbal mix includes the old ‘bone knit’ herb, comfrey. The mix is known for its help in repairing bone, cartilage, hoof, circulation of extremities, and, ligament and tendonous damage. Tracey took a lot of time and care listening to my woes and for this I was most appreciative. Mid May I commenced Axel on a cup a day of Hoof and Bone Regenerator.
In August (3 months post diagnosis), Axel had his xrays which were very promising indeed. The medial wing fracture had completely healed with bone and the lateral fracture was well on the way. The next lot of xrays are in November and hopefully the special shoe can stay off and rehabilitation can commence. I’ve had several calls to Tracey for reordering and she has offered immeasurable reassurance and advice in her area of expertise. She shows genuine care and interest in Axel’s recovery. Along with the conventional medical treatment of Axel’s injury I am sure that the Regenerator mix has offered extra support and given Axel an extra healing edge.
Canine Inner Peace
Just wanted to let you know how wonderful I think your Canine Inner Peace is! I have a really reactive Dog whom I put on Inner peace after meeting you at a Pet Expo in Melbourne. This was the biggest turning point in her behavior. It took the edge of her reactivity and we were able to train through her problems. This was about 3 1/2 years ago and today, no one can believe she was ever reactive. I reccomend you to everyone who ever asks how I got my girl so calm and from all accounts, the people who are now using Inner Peace are having fantastic results also. Well done on a life changing product! :)
Cheers, Sarah
